What is a diet... A person limits himself to certain excesses. Could there be a diet about love? When would a person consciously begin to dose out receiving love from loved ones? Sounds strange, doesn’t it? I’ll tell you a story in which I learned what such a diet of refusal of love can lead to. My friend Olya complained that her hair began to fall out a lot. The owner of gorgeous hair quickly and rapidly began to go bald. The hairdresser, cosmetologist and doctors all shouted in unison: “Check your hormones! Urgently!” And I began to wonder what kind of feelings cause such severe hair loss. When I asked to imagine the symptom in space, my client’s voice became very sad. I also felt deep sorrow, as if Olya and I were burying someone. When asked “what do you feel?” - my client burst into tears. “I miss dad very much,” Olya said, sobbing, after a few minutes of sobbing. And then we began to talk about the love that she always received from her father. It turned out that her parents divorced, and in order not to upset her mother, Olya stopped calling her dad. She denied herself love. “I haven’t talked to him for so long! It was as if she buried her dad alive,” Olya admitted. Surprisingly, in ancient times there was a custom during grief to tear out one’s hair and sprinkle ashes on one’s head. Either the ancients noticed what happens to the body from severe grief - a person can turn gray and go bald. Or they deliberately started a tradition in order to grieve the loss in time and move on with their lives. The next morning Olya called her father. They cried for a long time with joy and talked a lot. They forgave each other and asked for forgiveness. (After this call, dad’s chronic runny nose went away.) And although it was not easy - after many months to break the dead silence, their love came to life again. Now they often call each other, meet and go to visit. But what about the hair, you ask? My hair stopped falling out, because there was no longer any reason to mourn. PSWhen I started writing this article, I wondered what the meaning of the word “diet” was. From Greek, “diet” is translated as a way of life. It is also stated that dietary preferences and diet choices affect a person’s health. May your lifestyle be full of love and health. May your life and the lives of your loved ones be full of love and joy!
