BURNOUT AS A BUCKLE OF THE 21ST CENTURY Today, marketers, and any expert can now fit into their concept, with noticeable persistence, are imposing on us a very romantic idea that we can do anything. And so it is, I choose to believe in people. But there is one BUT. At the moment, there is a maximum number of offers in any market. Shoppers, inspired by the idea that “they can do anything,” buy endless products in the hope that their lives will improve. The idea is good. I really believe that man is a plastic being. He can adapt to everything, including multitasking, overwork, lack of rest, emotional turbulence. But is this necessary in 100% of cases? In English there is a phrase “you can do anything, but not everything”, literally “you can do anything, but not everything.” But I like this idea much more than the one that sells “you can do anything!” “You can do anything!” mode. inevitably leads to burnout. It is not always noticeable and has a cumulative effect. And this is the opposite state of productivity. In this condition, you do not need any training, training, or meetings. You most likely will not need anything other than a consultation with a psychologist. A romantic trail with the idea “you can do anything!” inevitably subsides. The shopping diet is something we must follow if we don’t want to go completely crazy. And then boring life enters the chat. We were talking with a friend recently and she said, “I completed my training as always and got sick. Yes, I understand that I have taken on a lot. But living as usual is kind of boring.” Translation: “I’m used to tension, I have secondary benefits of living in it, another way is alien and incomprehensible to me.” We are dependent on emotions and encouragement from sellers/experts/gurus/teachers, admiration from others “How do you manage to do everything?! » . And FOMO syndrome, aka fear of reduced opportunities, adds to our anxiety that we will remain out of the game while everyone is learning/selling/getting rich (insert yours). So people inevitably find themselves in a situation of asthenia or a state of chronic fatigue. Her bright ghost6 when you wake up in the morning already tired. It turns out that in pursuit of a better life, we simply forget to live it. It’s a vicious circle. Very often, burnout is caused by a lack of contact with your body, neglect of your body’s signals, but low self-esteem and a toxic sense of shame affect us much more powerfully. Moreover, shame works as a metastasis. You treat it in one place, and it comes out in another. This is how people perceive the fences drawn in chalk around them as toxic shame for real ones and are afraid to go beyond them in the name of a freer and happier life. And this is already a request for therapy. If you recognize yourself in this article, I am waiting for you for my consultations.
