From the author: Other articles here: Choosing a goal, or what does the new generation teach us?..We live in the most interesting times - for the first time in long historical eras, people actually in fact, have the opportunity to succeed individually: thanks to the Internet, any high-quality “professional offer” can find its consumer!.. For many people of the older generation, this is not yet obvious - after all, in the past, professional success was associated, first of all, with moving up the career ladder, with “playing by the rules” of the system in which a person chose to “work” or “serve.” Preparation for this long path “from the bottom up” began in childhood: be “correct”, seek the approval of “elders”, meet their expectations and you will succeed later!.. It cannot be said that in the end real success accompanied the majority, but some kind of stability , nevertheless, this choice was given!.. However, today the situation is completely different - no one can guarantee the stability of any of the “systems,” not only in Russia, but throughout the world. The largest corporations are collapsing, successful industries cease to be so, and “hired workers,” even highly professional ones, become those drowning people who must save themselves!.. In short, a person has no one to rely on but himself!.. Diplomas, regalia, and even the accumulated experience becomes unclaimed in our rapidly changing world!.. Today you need to have a stable psyche, self-confidence, the ability to love Life and be interested in it, in order to realize your human and professional potential! Instead of “settling” in a “decent place” and “trusting the management” (at the same time feeling the injustice of employers), people have an alternative: take full responsibility for their lives and try to do what really brings satisfaction. Typically, this alternative is used forcedly - having been laid off, or having become disillusioned with their profession. I know quite a few people who radically changed their occupation and, over time, succeeded: a design engineer who began manufacturing forged products; a historian turned barber; a scientist who created a travel agency... But most of all I am amazed by modern children! Those same “don’t care” people who could not be “downloaded” by either family or school!.. I am a practical psychologist, specializing in the harmonization of child-parent relationships, so over the past 10 years, many families have passed through “me” in which children were accused in all mortal sins (from flagrant parasitism to bullying of parents and teachers), only because they were able to make their choice very early: to live with satisfaction from every day they live. What in modern life is called Downshifting is the priority of personal happiness before expanding their own consumer opportunities through exhausting work - these children choose right away. The paradox is that such “loafers”, according to teachers, upon reaching adolescence, receive a good income from their hobbies!.. Masters of online games become players, no less more valuable than football players from decent clubs; “skaters” and “snowboarders” receive the right to produce original lines of equipment from well-known companies; DJs record hits and create their own clubs, and airbrush lovers sell their exclusive creations for very decent money. They may object to me: you can’t skateboard all your life!.. I completely agree. That's why I'm keeping a close eye on them. And then it turns out this: people who have very early achieved mastery in their favorite activity, easily leave it at a new stage of life, taking with them priceless capital - self-confidence, determination, hard work and passion!.. Once I talked with the captain of the team ( network games), who was invited to play for one of the European countries. It was at this moment that young
