From the author: Remember this, because this is a huge trap for spending another part of your life on experiences and disappointments associated with a not entirely real person. No matter how important, warm and heart-tugging your memories of this person are, they are not real! Have you ever had the feeling that people with whom, in the near or distant past, you separated in life, are returning?! It was most likely a warm, close, trusting relationship, or a relationship filled with various strong feelings and experiences. These people can appear themselves or through someone from your inner circle. These can be random meetings, conversations of mutual friends, photographs on social networks, objects from your shared past, they can even “sneak” into your own dreams. Although no one was expecting them, no one called them or invited them to visit, and your relationship ended in the past and at this stage of your life you do not communicate. Or you barely communicate: birthday and New Year messages don’t count! We are talking about real relationships between people, and not about the illusion of their existence. When you can say with confidence that there is friendship, communication, love, conversations, when knowledge about the person you are communicating with does not resemble lost puzzles from different mosaics. So why do these people come back?! Most likely because you are like this or that! Sensitive, responsive, sincere, trusting, accepting, caring, in general, those with whom you can be extremely frank, open and be yourself. You are the person who has a lot of love, who does not give up until the last moment and maintains relationships, no matter what they are, if they are important. There is a place for these people in your inner world even now that the relationship has ended. I'm not saying that it shouldn't exist, no, it should be mandatory for every important and close person in our lives. These people and the experiences associated with them are an integral part of our priceless life. But there can be too much space; not only memories, warm feelings and unforgettable moments can fit there, but also the person himself in full growth and not even alone. Then, when a reminder about this person appears, not a small indicator lights up, but a whole spotlight, which is no longer possible not to notice. Then the effect of the appearance of this person in your life is very great, making changes in it, and then the past becomes the present, even if the relationship with this person is not renewed. During such a period, you can become very confused and experience various strong feelings from great burning love to deep disappointment. At some point, you may really feel that this person has accidentally appeared in your life and betrayed you. This will be evidenced by various facts and circumstances. But?! There is a very important “but” here. You were betrayed by the person you knew before, his image that you remembered from the past. The past, it is not present, it is not real at a given moment in time, it will always be the past: not the present. Then the image of a person from the past is not real. Accordingly, there might not have been any betrayal. In fact, you were “betrayed” by the feeling that was preserved in the depths of your memories about this person, and not by the person himself. Remember this, because this is a huge trap for spending another part of your life on experiences and disappointments associated with a not entirely real person. No matter how important, warm and heart-tugging your memories of this person are, they are not real! Don't be fooled! Don't be disappointed in vain, life is not endless, don't waste it in vain! Keep, take care of these memories, but don’t live by them. This is the past, it is not alive, and even if we have “living” water, then this is only your living and real relationship with this person or people now!
